About CentralARTRN

The Central AR Trauma Recovery Network (CentralARTRN) is a Volunteer Organization operating within the framework of the EMDR HAP (Humanitarian Assistance Program), that is the Umbrella Organization. We are an organized group of trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Clinicians who are Licensed and Insured. Our mission is to develop, train and maintain a network of licensed EMDR therapists to organize, structure and provide early intervention to minimize the emotional effects of a traumatic event occurring to AR citizens that are victims to man-made or natural disasters and widespread violence.

EMDR Therapy is both effective and efficient and is an evidence-based therapy.

After Effects of Traumatic Exposure

After a disaster, the effects of exposure to emotional/physiological trauma can linger and interfere with a person’s ability to return to a normal life. Brief treatments of EMDR can help to alleviate common symptoms. Our goal is to assist victims of Post Traumatic Stress and to lessen and/or eliminate the interference of symptoms related to a disaster that has occured in the Central Arkansas Area. We can and will assist other disaster areas in the state of Arkansas, if needed.
