Help for the community

When disaster strikes, the effect on a community and its inhabitants is profound and a variety of responses are needed to address the hardship and suffering.  First responders and local organizations deal with the most immediate physical needs of the community.  The mental health needs, however, still need to be addressed.

We are offering FREE COUNSELING

The counseling is an EMDR therapy.  EMDR (eye movement desensitization & reprocessing) is a trauma-based therapy used to decrease or remove the distress associated with a disaster that might be interfering with your quality of life.  It could include but is not limited to an ongoing inability to sleep, having recurring nightmares, decreased concentration,  decreased memory, inability to make decisions, the need to numb, and an ongoing increase of anxiety or sense of panic, etc.

For FREE COUNSELING, you must have experienced a qualifiable event with PTSD symptoms which CentralARTRN will determine.
